Now for some strange reason, certain computers won't download *.exe and archive correctly. The installer crashes after download, so if you happen to have one of those computers, here are alternate links:

Just about everything is complete. I have some host sounds to place yet and there are 4 players who I need voice tracks for, 3 of which will be doing theirs at the halloween party on friday, so expect them in the first game update.

As for the game sets, here is what will be included for the release:

* The Halloween (Fears) Game (both forward and reversed)
* Name That Midi - TV Edition (I might not have all 300+ clips done, but there will still be plenty)
* Bullshit - Video Game Trivia
* Simpsons Trivia (because it's a tradition!)

After Friday's release, I will be posting updates (which will contain games, bug fixes and possibly new characters) either once a week or once every 2 weeks. Here are some of the changes you will see...

1) Stop buttons for audio clues! I realize how much of a pain it is to listen to the whole audio clues, so this was sorely needed.
2) Game continues after commercials. This oversight has been corrected.
3) A few more sound additions. I have added the code for the winner (if there is no tie) to celebrate with a positive reaction. I still have to add the host speaking in several places. I was able to add several more voices: Ksweeney (w00t!), Captain Dan (Arrrgh!), Jenn (despite surgery! What a trooper!), Carol and Earl (for those who can unlock them  and if you can't, be sure to be in the chat room during tonight's live show!)

As for the game itself, I am going to be adding code that makes the game continue after the commercial has been played. It was actually supposed to do that already, but it was a slight oversight on my part. I have also received word that the commercial segment occasionally doesn't have sound, so I am going to recheck the code and the file names of the commercial clips to hopefully figure out why the program is looking for certain files and not finding them. Next, I am making the play button (during audio clues) turn into a stop button, so that you don't need to listen to an entire clue before you give an answer. Lastly, I will be adding another audio type for celebration at the end of the game. If any people who are in the game wish to contribute another clip (for what you say when you win the game) it is more than welcome. For characters who don't submit a clip for this by the release, I will have it fall back to one of your "positive" comments.

A note for Mac users: I built the Beta using Flash 8 which makes the so-called "projector" in HQX format. I was informed by Nerraux that HQX is just an obsolete archive format. So when I make the final build, I will be using Adobe CS3 Flash, which makes the projector in APP format (much more the equivalent of EXE in Windows, as I understand). So hopefully that will help to make things works more smoothly for you.

Regarding a less pleasant matter, Caz is going to be removed from the final release of the game. His thoughtless and malicious audio comments have insulted and hurt a dear friend of mine and the show. This is completely against the spirit of the game, so if for any reason you enjoy playing as him or against him, you will only be able to do so with the beta release.

On a more cheerful note, I will be adding 3 more hidden characters. If you listened closely to Show #69 (69, heh-heh-heh), you probably already know who they are. If you don't, they will be revealed more officially on the following shows.
